April General Meeting

The April General Meeting will be on April 11th at NECC Building Construction. This will be our thank you to the building construction students for all of their help with our Home Show. It will begin at 6 PM. Be sure to come out and help us thank these guys for all of their help!

Norfolk Area Home and Garden Show

Start making plans now for our annual Home and Garden Show. Dates are March 17th 18th and 19th 2017. The theme of this years show is GO GREEN. February General Meeting

Due to Valentines Day our February General Meeting will start at Norfolk Senior High School at 6PM on February 21st.  Erik Wilson from the High School will give us a tour of the facility. Please park in the east parking lot and enter through the main entrance on the east side of the building a little before 6 PM. After the tour we will go to First Choice Catering for drinks, dinner and our meeting.

Plainview High School


Plainview- Gazebo

Kendra Buss, Agri-City Insurance, VP of NAHB, and Home Show Chair and Committee Member Steph Wolff visit with Plainview High School about Gazebo the students built to enter in the 2016 Home Show Building Contest.


The Building Construction and Woods students at Plainview High learned some important sales skills while approaching businesses and individuals to help support their building project for the Home and Garden Show.


This Gazebo will give plenty of shade and a comfortable spot to enjoy the outdoors!

Ponca High School

Home Show committee members Kendra Buss, Agri-City Insurance, VP of NAHB, and Home Show Chair; Don Wisneiski, Wisneiski Insulation, NSHBA President;  and Jane Christensen, EO of the NAHB; and Committee Member Steph Wolff visit with Ponca High about the project they are entering in the 2016 Home Show Building Contest.


Students at Ponca High designed this oversize bar height table and bench set with a basketweave top that was the most challenging part of the build.


The bent horseshoe will soon be attached to the center piece of the table top that when opened reveals a drink cooler.
